Colour Our Future Art Competition - Muscle Cells

This art piece was created using the acrylic pouring technique. The pink represents the muscle cells and the white is the fat. Healthy muscles have a large pink area while the degenerated muscles have small white cells as muscles waste away into fat. The work is meant to show how the degenerated muscle cells of persons with muscular dystrophy will be wiped away into a beautiful and colourful future.
